While working at EKR, Destinations Travel was one of the most enjoyable projects I was given the opportunity to work on. One of their most pressing needs was a new web design and below are a few options that I proposed to them. One of those were selected and our developers created it.
One of the most common platforms for creating presentations and templates is Microsoft Powerpoint. For Destinations Travel, I discouraged the use of powerpoint and suggested using Google Slides. There are a few advantages that google slides had over powerpoint. It is much more collaborative, and can be quickly shared to multiple users for easy adjustments.
It also has a more intuitive master page setup which makes it easier for setting up dummy text and making changes to the slides. Lastly, google slides could be downloaded or exported in a variety of formats including PDF and even a powerpoint file. This meant that if someone wanted to create additional changes in powerpoint, it is completely compatible.
