Luxera is a beauty magazine I created as a school editorial design project. The photography has been sourced through Behance and google. The idea behind the design was to create a luxury fashion magazine with modern typography to showcase the photography more dynamically.

Typeface: Didot
The logo for the Luxury brand had to fit the luxury feel while being bold and read well. There were a few modifications I made to the Didot typeface to get it where it needed to be. A few tight corners were rounded out to help it flow together and some kerning and letter modifications completed the job.
One of my favorite articles to design was about checker pattern tartan suits. I was able to use large bodies of text as textures and do a few photoshop cutouts to make the mix. My goal was to make it something that would really stand off the page.
The Claraluna was very fun to work with photography and type. The photos I worked with were stunning and I wanted to showcase them fully as possible. I used typography only to emphasize the beauty in the photos.
